Our HOST A HIVE package is a monthly subscription that you can purchase where our fully trained beekeepers will deliver a beehive to your backyard and fully maintain the hive, you will benefit from the pollination that the bees will provide for your much loved fruit trees and vegetable garden. As well as the amazing pollination benefits, you will also receive a years supply of honey! The best part though is knowing that you are helping to keep our New Zealand bee population healthy and strong!
Available in Mid-Canterbury and South Canterbury by arrangement.
Your monthly subscription includes:
- Your choice between either 1 or 2 beehives fully maintained by a professional beekeeper.
- Fantastic Pollination for your backyard or lifestyle block all year round!
- 6kg of delicious honey (1 hive package $45 per month) or 12kg of delicious honey (2 hive package $65 per month).
- Everything taken care of by us!

THE PROCESS
Step 1: Select your package; either 1 hive or 2 hives.
Step 2: Proceed through to checkout to set up your reoccurring monthly subscription.
Step 3: A member of our friendly team will be in touch to confirm your location and confirm if our host a hive package is available in your area. If for any reason we are unable to service you area, no panic, you will receive a full refund and cancellation of your subscription.
Step 4: Our beekeeper will be in touch to complete a preliminary check to ensure you are in a suitable location for backyard bees.
Step 5: Our beekeeper will deliver your bees to your own backyard!
Step 6: Sit back and relax as you enjoy your bees, their pollination benefits and of course their delicious honey!
